Baħrija is a small rural village situated at the top of Rabat, Malta. It is one of the highest places in Malta which you can immediately notice when you climb on the hill and see most of northern Malta, as well as some of Gozo. Although the name Baħrija means “moth” in Maltese, it is completely unrelated to any of the moth memes that have surfaced recently.

I’ll definitely remember having tea while watching the sun setting from the top of Baħrija hill, as well as the annoying wind that hit us from the north, south, east, west, up and down… But hey, you can’t have a good time without any drawbacks.
